'Written on the Inside', Nancy's debut Album is a body of work written over the last 12 months, where lockdowns and motherhood have underpinned her day to day. Here she explores the potential of being human and the strength in vulnerability. She sketches emotions into melodies in a way that is sensitive and illuminating. Her songs weave dreams and reality into one, and the journey she takes you on is honest and direct.

 

Nancy has been writing songs since she was 18 when she began to teach herself the guitar. In December 2013 she completed an early album, ‘Whispers from Wanda’ recorded and produced by friend and musician Rohan White. Around that time, she began teaching song writing and guitar.

Now with motherhood in the mix, her songs continue to combine poetry with melodies that express the catharsis and release music can bring.
